Hi everybody,
My name is Gabriel Moyne and I was born in Grenoble - France in 1981.
Passionate about arts and history, I have always loved Scotland for its wild lands and ancient history.
I started to carve horn in 2006 in a self-taught way.
It was in July 2017 that I moved to Scotland to North Kessock in the Highlands with my wife and our 3 children.
In October 2017 I launched "Kernunos" to honour the Celtic, Viking and Pictish arts.

Since 2018, I've been making entirely original handforged sgian dubh combining the finest French knife making with centuries of Highland traditions.

I also take a great pleasure in creating bespoke knives, dirks and swords for customers the world over including USA, Canada, Japan, Australia, South Africa and Europe.

Since 2019, we have been established on the iconic NC500 on the west coast of the Scottish Highlands in the lovely wee community of Elphin which lies between Lochinver and Ullapool.

Thus full filling our life long ambition.
